Freelancer Application

About us

Smullin Design and Development (a Utah LLC) is an Internet firm headquartered in Eagle Mountain, Utah in the United States. Mike Smullin is founder of Smullin Design. He brings over 8 years of experience developing Internet-based websites and applications.

About this opportunity

Whether you are a student, employee, or a full time freelancer, this is an opportunity to gain some experience, help pay tuition, and/or raise your income.

  • Do what you love
Sorry, but if you don't like doing what we do, you're disqualified.
  • Work from anywhere
As long as you have your own computer and some type of access to the Internet, you could work from your home office or a yacht in the Caribbean.
  • Set your own hours
Full-time, part-time, night shift, random/odd hours, whatever! Go to work/school full time and do this part time. Do it only on the weekends. Work 16 hours a day. Whatever fits your lifestyle.
  • Set your own income level
You determine how much you will earn; your income is directly proportionate to your personal unique talent and abilities, and your desire to improve them. No education requirements. No dangling carrots. You just do your best and the market will pay you what you're worth.
  • Learn while you earn
We offer apprenticeships to serious candidates where we see potential. You can also go to school while you do this.
  • No age restriction
    Just do good work.
  • Take as much vacation/sick leave as you like
Unfortunately, this is not paid time off. But the luxury is still there if you are smart enough to know how to budget, save, and invest your income.

This is not a job

This is for people who can get things done without being babysat by middle management. We pay quality people to work on contract. You tell us what you can do and how you like to get paid. If you look like a good candidate, we'll start sending you projects. All communication and collaboration happens via email, instant messenger, or phone as a last resort. If you are already freelancing, consider this an opportunity to receive more work without having to beg for it. You can tell us to buzz off any time for any reason.
